Stainless steel round bar

Stainless steel round steel belongs to the category of long materials, and also belongs to the category of bars. The so-called stainless steel round steel refers to long materials with uniform circular cross-sections, generally about four meters long. It can be divided into light circles and black rods. The so-called smooth round means that the surface is smooth and has been processed by quasi-rolling; the so-called black rod means that the surface is black and rough, and it is directly hot-rolled.
Common materials are 301, 304, 303, 316, 316L, 304L, 321, 2520, 201, 202, etc. Specifications are expressed in diameter, such as "50", which means round steel with a diameter of 50 mm. Round steel is divided into three types: hot rolled, forged and cold drawn. The specifications of hot-rolled round steel are 5.5-250mm.

310S stainless steel round bar
Features: 310S stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Because of the higher percentage of chromium and nickel, 310S has much better creep strength, can continue to work at high temperatures, and has good high temperature resistance.
316L stainless steel round bar

Features: 316 stainless steel is the second most widely used steel grade after 304. It is mainly used in the food industry and surgical equipment. Because of the addition of Mo, its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are particularly good, and it can be used under harsh conditions; excellent work hardening (non-magnetic).
321 stainless steel round bar
Features: Ti element is added to 304 steel to prevent intergranular corrosion, suitable for use at 430°C-900°C. The performance is similar to 304 except that the risk of corrosion of the weld seam of the material is reduced due to the addition of titanium elements
304L stainless steel round bar
Performance: 304L stainless steel round bar is a variant of 304 stainless steel with a lower carbon content, used in occasions that require welding. The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone near the weld, which can lead to intergranular corrosion (weld attack) in stainless steels in some environments.

Features: 304 stainless steel is the most widely used chromium-nickel stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties.
